Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Linora. By accessing or using our marketing site (getlinora.com), web application (app.getlinora.com), or Chrome extension — collectively, the "Service" — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Linora is a job-search productivity platform. It helps users tailor their
resumes and cover letters to specific job postings, autofill application
forms across common Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSes), submit
applications on the user's behalf, and track inbound email replies via a
user-specific jobinmail.com address. Linora is a tool — you
remain responsible for the content you submit and the applications you
make.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Linora.
- You agree to provide truthful and accurate information about yourself in your profile and resume.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- One account per person. You may not share your account or use someone else's account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate resume and work-history information; do not submit fabricated experience or credentials.
- Do not abuse auto-submission. Linora is intended to send genuine job applications you have reviewed — not to flood employers with bulk or test submissions.
- Comply with the Terms of Service of every destination platform Linora interacts with on your behalf, including LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday, and any company-hosted ATS.
- Use the Service only for genuine job-search purposes — not for market research, competitive intelligence, or any non-job-search activity.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service or its underlying models and prompts.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute the Service or its outputs as a product.
- Use Linora as a vehicle for automated scraping, large-scale crawling, or commercial data harvesting.
- Upload malicious content, malware, or anything intended to compromise the Service or other users.
- Submit false or misleading information in job applications, harass employers, or engage in any unlawful activity.
- Create accounts on behalf of other people without their explicit consent.
6. Intellectual Property
- Your content remains yours. You retain all rights to the resumes, cover letters, work-history details, and other content you submit to Linora.
- Linora's platform remains ours. The Service software, design, AI prompts, generated formatting templates, and underlying systems are the intellectual property of Linora and are protected by copyright and other laws.
- Limited license to operate the Service. By submitting content to Linora, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit that content solely as needed to deliver the Service to you (e.g. tailoring, autofilling, submitting). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
7. Auto-Submission Disclaimer
When you ask Linora to submit a job application on your behalf, Linora forwards your tailored resume and form responses to the destination ATS. The actual delivery, parsing, and treatment of that submission is controlled entirely by the destination ATS and the employer.
Linora does not guarantee that any application will be successfully received, reviewed, or result in an interview or job offer. ATS sites can reject submissions for reasons outside our control (rate limits, captchas, expired postings, region restrictions, anti-bot measures, missing required fields). You agree that Linora is not liable for application outcomes or for the conduct of any third-party ATS or employer.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Linora uses AI to tailor resumes and generate cover-letter drafts. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or factual inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it as part of an application. Linora does not guarantee the accuracy of generated content and is not responsible for any consequences of submitting unreviewed AI output.
9. Third-Party Services
Linora interacts with third-party platforms (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday, LinkedIn, company-hosted career sites, Outlook for inbound email signals) on your behalf. We are not affiliated with these platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
10. Service Availability
Linora is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, and we will give reasonable notice for any material reduction in functionality.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use Linora in a way that harms employers, other users, or the Service itself. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings; see Section 5 of the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterwards.
12. Limitation of Liability
Linora is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linora's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Linora in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100. In no event shall Linora be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost opportunities, lost interviews, or lost job offers.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
